This is a really beautiful piece of music, Elizabeth. The figurations you've used are simple and understated and your harmonies are charming. I also quite like the quality of the strings sound. Clearly they're not meant to be real strings, they are their own instrument. I would however have liked them not to have been accompanying the piano all the way through.

Anne, I think your piece, Andes to Amazon, is brilliant! I have to disagree with the other panelists here, I'm afraid. It's serene, powerful and exciting at different times. Clearly, it's well orchestrated, with great harmonic progressions and performed impeccably by the orchestra. I bet it works well with the images too. Of course, it's all about taste on Screened Music, so each to their own, but I think it's fab. Bravo!

This piece moves and inspires me. It's simple, introspective, sad and dignified. The string performances are great and add depth. It would've been wonderful to have a real piano too.

Your best work. Excellent build up of tension through the drums, followed by other instruments. It's minimal and I'm sure you're giving plenty of space for the on screen action. It's got real edge.

I love this - brings back great memories of the innocence of the 80s, the time before irony. I feel so nostalgic listening to it. Of course it's brilliantly written and performed too.

John, I really like your use of sound effects in your tracks. It's something I think I should perhaps do more of - you've inspired me. It adds an extra dimension. The music part of this track is brilliant too! Kind of 80s (very current) but in an updated way which is subtle. Love it!
