Biography

Image of Roger Pasto Cortina

I was born in Barcelona, and moved to the UK in 1997. I have composed music for theatre, dance, documentaries, fashion, short-films and radio. My main instruments as a performer are guitar and oud, but I feel very comfortable on piano when I compose music. To me, each project is a learning experience, that is why I like composing different styles and genders of music.

Anne, this is a beautiful piece! I like all the different atmospheres and moments within the piece. May be an ethnic instrument from the area would have made it even more magicalto me. Really good stuff!!
