Searingly beautiful violin really reached out to me and took me somewhere - urgent and evocative, hauntingly strange - I liked it a lot.

I like the unusual sound-world and the use of high strings over the strummed accompaniment (it reminds me of Janacek) - it's quite original but I just wish it did a bit more!

Great sense of pace and movement. But I felt the wonderful violin was cheapened a little by the pizzicato strings that were obviously samples but playing an unrealistic pattern that felt very artificial. It's a great example of style, beauty and chutzpah, but I wanted the violin line to develop further into a more memorable melody. To sum up - supremely wonderful in places.

This is good stuff. I was kind of hypnotised by the intertwining upper string lines - lovely interplay between them, leaving you wondering where the harmony is taking you! Would quite like to hear this played with a live string ensemble..maybe developing into a longer piece?
